Visiting Members

Qualifications for visiting membership

• the visitor cannot be local (with local defined arbitrarily as 200km)
• two regular members must take responsibility in writing for any damage / theft caused by the visitor
• two temporary memberships per year are allowable, for up to a month each, per visitor
• minimum temporary membership time is normally three days; any less than that is not worth the overhead
  • this is negotiable for special situations

Procedure for accepting someone as a visiting member

• email the members@hacklab.to mailing list - include visitors email address and photo
• get two people to accept financial responsibility for the visitor
• wait 2 days
• follow Joining HackLab procedure from "LDAP" on down, upon approval
